Tour de Irwin

Today J, N and I competed in the Tour de Irwin.  There were quite a few men in the race, but not too many women. It was perfect weather, not too windy. It was nice and HOT! The course itself was mostly uphill for the first half, so coming back wasn't so bad. But by the half way mark my legs were BURNING!
N enjoyed her ride, being pulled by her mama.
After the ride was complete there were fruit and snacks for the competitors, and also hot dogs and hamburgers for sale. There was also an awards ceremony once everyone was complete.
The course we rode was 10.5 miles. There was also a longer course of 41 miles (the real race). Crazy, right?  But maybe next year!

The road to oblivion....

N ready to race!

Me after the race, hence the hair....
